Dear Members and Friends of Mormon History Association:

You are invited to preregister and attend the Mormon History Association’s 52nd Annual Conference in the historic St Charles area of St Louis MO. We hope that you will be able to attend what promises to be an exciting event.

Be sure to arrive on Wednesday night to take advantage of the pre-conference tours and to join the fun at the opening reception Thursday night!

For your conference lodging, make your reservations at the St Charles Embassy Suites , directly adjacent to the conference venue. You can book a room in MHA’s block for $135/night plus tax. This rate is discounted over $94 from the normal Embassy Suites rate and will be available to MHA for 2 days before and 2 days after the conference. If you prefer to call them call (800)916-1392 to make reservations. Be sure to say you’re with Mormon History Association to get the discounted rate.

Remember:

  • Online conference pre-registration begins on March 3, 2017, and closes on May 20, 2017. (Registration fees increase after May 6, 2017.) On-site registration at the St Charles Convention Ctr begins on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 after 3:00 pm and continues early the next morning prior to the tours.
  • Rooms at the St Charles Embassy Suites (reserved for MHA participants) will be released to the general public after May 12, 2017. This link will take you to the hotel registration for MHA members HERE.
  • All presenters (speakers, chairs, and commentators) must be current members of MHA and registered for the conference.

We will not be mailing a printed copy of the preliminary program.  Instead, you can see the newest edition of the preliminary program here on MHA’s webpage by clicking on the program image located to the right.

Our conference hotel, the Embassy Suites, will have plenty of rooms available for MHA members, until May 6th when our block of rooms will be opened up and what is left will be sold to the public. You should make your lodging reservation well before that date to ensure you have the most convenient lodging at the conference venue during our 4-day event.
