Explore Western Missouri with Alex Baugh
Our overnight post-conference Northwestern Missouri tour lead by Alex Baugh, will take us by bus from St Charles, northwest through Columbia and Lexington (discussing steamboats Saluda and Arabia) to the historic city of Richmond, site of the vacant log house where Joseph Smith and 6 other Mormon leaders were incarcerated. We will have dinner and spend the evening in Liberty MO.
Monday will will explore lesser- and some well-known areas such as Hawn’s Mill, Far West temple site, Galliton and Davies County Courthouse, Adam-ondi-Ahman, and Kingston. the site of David Whitmer’s grave. Tuesday, we will visit the Liberty Jail and Alexander Doniphan’s grave before returning to St Louis Airport / St Charles.
Admissions, transportation, overnight lodging and all meals included at these per person prices. Limited seating. Bus will leave from St Charles on June 4th at 11:00 a.m. and will return to St Louis June 6th by 5:00 p.m.
